Description:
The SeaCom 19'' is the system for those that like to make a custom designed telephone and intercom system. It is a 19'' 3U a board magazine including the neccessary cards to make it a basic telephone system. The magazine have 18 card slots, out of which one is occupied by the CP2. This leaves 17 slots to be used for either AEXT16 line cards or FIO2 or FIO4 trunk and PA out cards. The number of telephone lines can be extended to 408 by adding 17 x 24 port line cards.
The user should build this board magazine into own design of a 19'' cabinet, where the telephone lines are terminated using our CTU cards on the backside of the cabinet. The system is powered by 24V DC, and it is up to the user to make switchover to battery backup if required.
The board magazine is not type approved as stand alone. It is up to the designer of the 19'' cabinet to perform approvals. The system is based on components all used in our type approved products.
